Desapega Kids

PRODUCT DESIGN · UX/UI

Desapega Kids was born from a personal challenge. As my daughter grew, many clothes, toys and baby accessories were no longer being used, despite remaining in excellent condition.

I first tried selling these items through platforms such as OLX, Enjoei, Facebook Marketplace and WhatsApp groups. However, managing multiple listings, repeatedly answering the same questions and keeping advertisements up to date quickly became a frustrating process.

To simplify this experience, I developed Desapega Kids: a web application that centralizes second-hand children's products in a single organized catalog. Instead of functioning as a traditional e-commerce platform, the application focuses on presenting products clearly while allowing the entire negotiation to continue naturally through WhatsApp.

The result is a lightweight and intuitive solution that makes buying and selling children's products more organized, practical and transparent.

THE CHALLENGE

The main challenge was finding a simpler way to sell second-hand children's products without relying on multiple marketplaces and messaging groups.

The application needed to support:

  • A centralized product catalog
  • Clear product presentation
  • Mobile-first browsing
  • WhatsApp-based negotiation
  • Product management
  • Delivery simulation
  • Responsive experience

THE SOLUTION

Instead of building a complete marketplace, I designed a digital catalog focused on simplicity and usability.

The application allows users to:

  • Browse products by category
  • View detailed product pages
  • Explore multiple product images
  • Send purchase requests or offers
  • Continue negotiations via WhatsApp
  • Simulate delivery costs
  • Manage products through an administrative dashboard

Every feature was designed to reduce friction during the selling process while keeping the experience intuitive for both the seller and the buyer.
