House is a domestic governance application designed to transform household organization into a centralized, elegant, and functional system. The project was created with the vision of combining household management, internal communication, and financial control into a clean, modern, and intuitive experience.
Originally developed for personal use, House was created to help me manage my own home more efficiently and intentionally, bringing structure and clarity to everyday domestic responsibilities.
Unlike traditional task management applications, House was conceived as a structured family organization platform, where each member has defined roles, permissions, and responsibilities within the household.
THE CHALLENGE
The main challenge of the project was transforming complex household routines into a simple, organized, and visually pleasing experience. The system needed to support:
- Multiple users within the same household
- Permission and role management
- Household operational organization
- Internal communication
- Basic financial management
- Intuitive navigation
THE SOLUTION
The solution was to develop an architecture centered around domestic governance, using a modular structure organized by household contexts. The application was divided into:
- Household tasks
- Family schedule and routines
- Notice board and internal communication
- Shopping list and pantry management
- Financial management
