THE EVENT

Held in Criciúma, Hackathon Senac integrated hands-on learning across the Systems Analysis & Development undergraduate degree and the Jovem Programador initiative. In an intensive and collaborative atmosphere, participants built innovative solutions for real smart city challenges, transforming ideas into functional prototypes centered on social impact and technical feasibility.

THE PROPOSED CHALLENGE

Students were challenged to identify a pressing real-world issue in the city of Criciúma and engineer an innovative, viable digital solution to address it.

FROM IDEA TO PITCH

01

Discovery

Analysis of challenges across the city of Criciúma. Among identified issues, the team chose urban mobility as it represented a shared pain point for everyone in the group.

02

Ideation

Mapping the primary commuting hurdles in the city and brainstorming actionable, innovative digital solutions to overcome them.

03

Prototyping

Designing end-to-end user flows and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to validate the proposed passenger experience.

04

Pitch

Preparing and delivering a 5-minute pitch highlighting the core problem, the proposed solution, key differentiators, and the expected civic impact for Criciúma.

COLLABORATIVE PROCESS

The strength of the project stemmed from the synergy between participants across varying experience levels, bringing together students from 1st to 4th semester of Systems Analysis & Development alongside members of the Jovem Programador program. During solution design, I worked closely with Alencar Prior and José Vitor S. Santos. We also benefited from the mentorship of Erick Monteiro (5th semester ADS), who guided development and helped refine our proposal.
